What is flashpoint batman?

Flashpoint Batman is a version of Batman from the alternate reality known as the Flashpoint universe. His real name is Thomas Wayne, the father of Bruce Wayne, who was killed instead of his wife and son in the alleyway mugging. Consumed by grief and rage, Thomas became the Batman of this universe, using lethal methods and cutting deals with known criminals to get results. He also wears a red bat emblem on his chest instead of the traditional black one. Flashpoint Batman is known for his heightened brutality and willingness to cross lines that other versions of Batman would never consider, making him a much darker character.
